Can occlusion be aligned manually?

  • Home >>

The iScan software provides a fully automated alignment feature. When you scan the bite occlusion, the software will look for reference points of the maxilla and mandible scan data and align them automatically. Alternatively, you can also choose to align them manually by marking the same points onto the scan data where you identify aligning points in the occlusion scan with the maxilla and the mandible.

How to Align Manually

1. Go to the Tools section and click Manual Alignment.

2. Mark a point on the maxilla or the mandible and mark the same point on the occlusion scan data appearing in grey colour to align them based on the points marked.

3. Scan data has been aligned.
